Cypher Environmental was recently invited to once again make a presentation at the Canada – China Green Mining Innovation Workshop, held in conjunction with the China Mining Conference, on October 30, 2014. The event was put on through a combined effort from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA) and Natural Resources Canada. This was the second of such events, the first of which Cypher also presented at during the Prospectors and Developers’ Association of Canada event in 2013 in Toronto, ON, Canada. China Mining Conference and Exhibition is one of the world’s largest mineral investment, cooperation and trading platforms and the largest mining exploration and investment show in Asia. The event is being held in Tianjin, China and takes place starting today until October 23rd. This year marks the 16th year that the event has been in place and it has grown each year. Cypher Environmental is pleased to announce the attendance of our distributor, Beijing STS Instrument Co. Ltd., to this event. On May 20th, 2014, Prince Charles and Camilla arrived in Winnipeg, the last stop of their 2014 Canadian tour. During their 27 hour trip to Winnipeg, The Prince of Wales and the Duchess had a busy agenda which included a meet and greet session with local business leaders and entrepreneurs including Cypher president, Todd Burns. The event took place at Innovation Alley, a non-profit startup community that provides work space and equipment for young entrepreneurs in the city, an ideal place to help showcase our city’s entrepreneurial spirit, resilience and diversity. Cypher Environmental was proud to have been a part of such a special occasion.
Cypher Environmental is pleased to announce that President Todd Burns has been invited to meet with His Royal Highness, Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, during his visit to Winnipeg next week. The event will take place at the Ramp Up Manitoba & AssentWorks Startup Space and will be a feature stop for the Prince of Wales during his one-day visit to Manitoba’s capital city. Todd will be among a group of 50-60 young entrepreneurs who will meet with Prince Charles on this occasion, a rare honour for our city’s bright future (and present) leaders. Members of the Cypher team will once again be attending the CIM 2014 Convention this year. This annual event is the signature event of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum and brings together those involved in the mining, metals, minerals and materials industry for knowledge sharing, discussion and networking. The CIM 2014 Convention will take place in Vancouver, Canada from May 11 – 14th, 2014. The event this year is expected to attract over 7,000 participants over the 3 day period. Booths will be featuring a wide range of exhibitors – from industry suppliers, consultants to equipment and service providers from around the world. Cypher Environmental was in Las Vegas earlier this month to attend the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014. This year’s show was the biggest yet with over 2.35 million net square feet of exhibit space with more than 2,000 exhibitors from around the world. The number of attendees was equally impressive – drawing nearly 130,000 attendees. Those that came for the show came from all around the world with a significant increase in international registrations. It was a tremendous experience to once again attend a show of this calibre. We were among the world’s most innovative manufacturers – providing cutting edge technology and solutions to the mining industry. Here are a few photos from the event:
Globetrotting Cypher president Todd Burns recently returned from the PDAC Convention in Toronto, where he conducted a presentation at the Innovation Forum. The PDAC audience learned how current market factors favour the use of Cypher’s environmentally friendly EarthZyme product to meet the demand for non-toxic, safe and greener environmental solutions for our world. EarthZyme is paving a new way for haul road construction, and as these photos show, Todd was pleased to explain that new way to everyone in attendance.
