It’s no secret that the mining industry in Canada is significant – employing more than 400,000 people in Canada and representing over 50 per cent of the world’s public mining companies. It’s also home to one of the world’s largest mining shows – PDAC 2015.
Again this year, Export Development Canada, in collaboration with the Canadian Association of Mining Equipment and Services for Export (CAMESE), will be hosting match-making sessions to help ensure that Canadian small- and medium-sized businesses attending the convention can meet the right international players.
Cypher Environmental has taken advantage of the match-making sessions at PDAC in the past and sees them as a valuable opportunity, as described in this article by EDC featuring Cypher.
“This year we’ve see an increased focus from the mining companies on finding suppliers that provide environmentally friendly solutions,” says Andrea Gaunt, EDC Sector Advisor for Mining. “This type of expertise is what mining companies around the world are looking for right now, so it’s a great opportunity for Canadian mining suppliers that specialize in these areas.”
The core foundation of Cypher Environmental is to provide high-quality, environmentally-friendly dust control, soil stabilization and water treatment technologies that deliver outstanding results, so this convention and the match-making sessions offered therein are a perfect fit and allow us to find global partners.
