Cypher’s dust control product “Dust Stop ®&rsuqo; tested under variable harsh winter conditions with excellent results
Dust Stop ® was applied in alternate freezing and warm conditions in the town of Longview, Alberta, Canada on a busy residential street. As seen in the pictures below, the houses are located very close to the street itself and the residents were constantly being plagued with massive dust clouds stirred up by the vehicles travelling on the road which presented not just adverse living conditions but health hazards as well. Dust Stop ® was tested under harsh winter conditions in the middle of January, the coldest month of the year, to determine the impact that the extreme variables in climatic highs and lows would have on the product since many applications are in higher altitudes where both warm and freezing conditions prevail. Both the application of the product and the results have been a great success. Since its application the road has experienced several freeze-thaws as well as precipitation in the form of both rain and snow and the product has proven its effectiveness in even these harsh winter conditions. Seen below is a vehicle travelling on the road which was broken up into a treated and untreated section to serve as a comparison to monitor the difference that Dust Stop ® made. Without a doubt Dust Stop ® is clearly effective in these variable conditions, which proves the product is suitable to suppress dust in a very broad spectrum of adverse conditions that may exist anywhere in the world.
